The campaign to defend research continues!

From October 7 to 11, during this year's Pasteurdon campaign, the Institut Pasteur once again flew the flag for research and for those who best embody it – the scientists who lead the battle day in, day out.

The "Let's defend research together" film, broadcast on television channels throughout Pasteurdon weekend and featuring a pair of scientists who have lent their faces to the Pasteurdon appeal for the past two years, shows pieces of equipment traditionally found in laboratories – test tubes, beakers and Petri dishes – shattering into pieces then being put together again, a powerful image that emphasizes the urgent need for action to give medical research the resources it requires to move forward. The events of 2020 have brought home that message more than ever.

The campaign film will continue to be broadcast from October 14 to October 25 on several partner channels (including TF1, France 2, France 3, France 5, LCI and TMC) and some catch-up platforms (including MyTF1, 6play and France TV), extending the campaign and reiterating the message that donations are vitally needed.

"Let's defend research together!" – the campaign encourages us all to step up and support research, in the interests of progress and for the future of humanity!
