Run 20km in support of Pasteurdon: they did it!
Sunday October 13 saw the latest edition of the famous "20km de Paris" race. This year, 60 Institut Pasteur staff took part, once again brimming with energy and enthusiasm and keen to embrace this new opportunity to combine their sporting prowess with their individual and collective support for Pasteurdon.
The race has always inspired outstanding performances, and this year's 46th edition was no exception. Wearing their Institut Pasteur t-shirts and bibs with the campaign visuals to carry the Pasteurdon colors, they set off with enthusiasm and motivation for the race which, every year, is synonymous of generosity and sharing.
After the starting gun was fired under the Eiffel Tower, Institut Pasteur staff of all levels gave their all, and every single one made it to the finish line!
During the race, the runners were accompanied by rhythmic, upbeat music, provided by the “Bloco Afro bandão” batucada, who also challenged the endurance performance. Mission accomplished in style!
After finishing and making their way back to the Institut Pasteur stand, the runners – all smiles following their great performances – made the most of the sunshine to take some photos, enjoyed some much-needed refreshments, and also added their name to a special roll-up banner as a reminder that research is very much part of them all!
Well done to all the runners for this new performance of solidarity, and see you next year!
A special thank you also to the Institut Pasteur photographer, who was able to follow the race from the inside and immortalize these race memories thanks to the race organizers, who had reserved a motorcycle for Institut Pasteur: the image at the service of commitment!

Runners in the starting blocks for Pasteurdon this weekend
On Sunday October 20, 50 female Institut Pasteur staff members will once again take to the starting line of the famous "La Parisienne" race, under the Eiffel Tower, in aid of Pasteurdon.
This women-only 7km race in central Paris is not just a sporting challenge – it's also a fun, sociable event to take part in with colleagues and friends. This year, they'll also be supported in rhythm and color by the “Bloco Afro bandão” batucada!
So why not come and support your colleagues along the course? Be there at 10am on Sunday for the start. Research is part of us, research is part of them!
