Department of Technology Open Day on November 7

The Institut Pasteur's Department of Technology is pleased to invite you to its third Open Day on Thursday November 7, 2024 starting at 11am, in the CIS halls, followed by guided tours of the platforms and core facilities from 3pm onwards.

From planning experiments to acquiring and analyzing data, the platform and core facility teams can help you to successfully implement your research projects in seven technological fields:

•    Omics, proteomics, metabolomics and single-cell technology
•    Multi-scale imaging
•    Nanobody discovery, protein production, molecular biophysics and structural biology
•    Screening, microfluidics and organs-on-chips
•    In vivo research
•    Biological resources
•    Computer science and data processing

In previous editions, in collaboration with the department directors, the event provided an opportunity for several PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, technicians, research engineers and scientists to connect with each other, find out more and discuss their specific needs with the Department of Technology teams.

Don't miss this opportunity to come and meet the experts of the Department of Technology’s 36 platforms and core facilities in a casual setting over a coffee, and find out about the latest innovations available on campus.

The teams from the Grants Office (GO), the Technology Transfer and Industrial Partnership Department (DARRI), the Department for Scientific Programming and Incentive Actions (SPAIS), the PhD Programs Office, and Human Resources teams will also be in attendance to provide information about the different programs available.

• This year, the Institut Curie and Institut Imagine core facilities will join the open day from 1pm onwards in a bid to strengthen synergies between our institutes. Two new posters will present the institutes’ core facilities.

• Starting at 3pm, the core facilities will open for guided tours. Tours are free but prior registration is required via this link

• At 5pm, a cocktail reception will be organized to round off the day.
