This year's Pasteurdon will take place from October 8 to 11. The 9th edition of the Institut Pasteur's annual campaign to raise awareness and funds will focus on the fighting spirit that motivates the Institut Pasteur's staff and their relentless drive to combat viruses, diseases and epidemics and improve human health.
The official launch of Pasteurdon 2015 will take place from 12.00pm on Wednesday, October 7 in the CIS. This is the perfect opportunity for you to come along and show your passion for the cause. Don't miss it!
Other events will be taking place throughout the Pasteurdon 2015 weekend, each one a reflection of the commitment and fighting spirit that characterizes the growing Pasteurdon community.
- Official launch of Pasteurdon on October 7, 2015
This year's Pasteurdon will once again offer a wide range of opportunities for Institut Pasteur staff to be involved. The senior management is keen for as many staff members as possible to attend the prestigious Pasteurdon 2015 launch.
This will take place from 12.00pm on Wednesday, October 7 in the CIS and will be attended by Pasteurdon patron Alexandra Lamy, the Institut Pasteur President, the partner digital TV channels, the press and the corporate partners.
In the run-up to the launch, from 11am to 5.30pm on October 6 and from 10.30am onwards on October 7, all staff members are welcome to come and demonstrate their fighting spirit and their determination to combat viruses. On your own or in teams of three warriors, make your way to the CIS auditorium and show us what you're made of! We hope that as many of you as possible will turn up to help us form the very first human chain committed to battling the scourge of viruses.

- Fighting spirit on the tarmac in the Paris 20km race
On October 11, some 70 Institut Pasteur staff members will be taking to the streets of Paris for the famous "20km de Paris" road race. United in their commitment to Pasteurdon, they will put their best foot forward in aid of the 2015 edition in a powerful display of support and fighting spirit. With every stride, these keen runners will help demonstrate the value of research and raise awareness of the Institut Pasteur's ongoing work to improve global health.
Why not show your appreciation for their generous support and sporting prowess by heading to the Institut Pasteur stand, set up by the race organizers at Emile Anthoine stadium, where you will find the Pasteurdon team? Or you can always find your own spot on the sidelines of the 20km course to cheer them on.
