New security measures on Monday October 16, message from the Executive Board

Following the Prime Minister's announcement on Friday October 13 that the Vigipirate plan was to be stepped up to "Urgence attentat" level, the Institut Pasteur senior management team has put in place a number of measures:

•    The closure of the Falguiere, Vaugirard, logistics, 23 and 26 rue du Docteur Roux entrances.
•    The reinforcement of security guards at the entrances kept open (25, 28, CMIP).
•    The systematic accompaniment of all external persons on campus by a Pasteurian.
•    The increased checks on all external visitors/providers and vehicles (identity papers, bags and suitcases) as they enter the campus.
•    Staff from 180 rue de Vaugirard who wish to enter the campus can do so via the CMIP.

Access to the campus is forbidden during non-working hours (i.e. from 9pm to 7am, Monday to Friday and 24 hours a day on Saturdays and Sundays) without prior declaration to the security team (surete@pasteur.fr).

Thank you all for your vigilance.

The Institut Pasteur senior management team
