Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Two years ago, we reported on the launch and inauguration of the Prairie Institute, one of four French Interdisciplinary Institutes of Artificial Intelligence which were set up as part of the French artificial intelligence strategy, announced in March 2018. Following on from the news about the Prairie Institute published in the newsletter on January 29, 2021, we are pleased to let you know about the upcoming celebrations for the institute's second anniversary.
For the occasion, the Prairie Institute is organizing two events on November 9 and 10, from 9am to 6pm, at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL:
PRAIRIE Day, on November 9: open to all and part of the Paris AI Week program. As well as providing an opportunity to look back at the first two years of the institute, this event will also include a series of round tables (in English) to explore various issues and challenges related to artificial intelligence, to reflect on the impact and future of the field and to identify drivers for cross-cutting innovation.

PRAIRIE Workshop, on November 10: this scientific meeting dedicated to artificial intelligence will feature presentations by several specialist researchers and PRAIRIE chair holders as well as the artificial intelligence scientist Yann LeCun, considered one of the inventors of deep learning, who will be rounding off the two-day celebratory meeting.
