Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
The IT Department would like to warmly thank you for your enthusiastic attendance at his first open morning.
Lots of you wandered around the stands, enjoyed the conferences, tried your luck playing the quiz, but also warmed up the server room!
This event was an opportunity for the Pasteurians to meet the IT Department and CISO teams, to learn more about different aspects of our job and to ask their own questions.
• Staff from the High-Performance Computing scientific cluster, headed by Youssef Ghorbal, presented the ultra-high-performance computing core facility available forscientists.
• Members of the Operations IS division, headed by Emmanuel Guichard, discussed storage solutions at the Institut Pasteur, while the Sustainable Development department, headed by Hélène Da Conceicao, hosted a digital fresco and reviewed best tech practices.
• Sebastien Vinson (Head of Campus Relations) and the Econocom teams were also on hand to present the new IT equipment available on campus.
• Curious visitors were able to find out more about the IT Department's activities within the Pasteur Network and discover the servers room.
• Our Product Owners introduced OWEY, a new datalake hosted at the Institute, and answered questions about the eLabJournal electronic laboratory notebook.
• CISO Stanislas Poireaud's team unveiled the inside story of a computer attack, and the Data Management platform (Anne-Caroline Deletoille) provided feedback on 5 years' use of RedCap software.
We also hosted a stand dedicated to the audiovisual services of the Conference Center (CCIP).
Here's a look back at this 100% IT morning!
Thanks again and see you next year !
