Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
On Thursday 6 and Friday 7 October, the Pasteurdon welcomed pupils from primary and middle schools to offer them an immersion into the heart of research through scientific and educational workshops led by researchers, students, technicians and engineers from the campus laboratories. Focused on topics such as the DNA, chemistry and microscopy, the workshops were a great success. With great enthusiasm and application, the pupils handled pipette tubes, flasks and other scientific tools, bringing them in the skin of a researcher.
They also had the opportunity to meet the challenge of waste sorting with the dedicated teams, exchange with members of the 2016 iGEM project to discover synthetic biology and dive into augmented reality to go behind the scenes of the Institut Pasteur.
A total of six classes took part in this unique event. Pupils and their teachers were pleased with this immersion in situ in an institute next to their school.
A big thank you to all supervisors!!
