Philippe Sansonetti and Lluis Quintana Murci, winners of the "Grands Prix" for medicine and medical research awarded by the City of Paris

Lluis Quintana-Murci, Head of the Institut Pasteur/CNRS Human Evolutionary Genetics Unit, was awarded the Grand Prix Jean Hamburger.

 

 

The Grand Prix Jean Hamburger is awarded to a young researcher who has made a major discovery or breakthrough. It represents both recognition of the work achieved and support for the next stages of the researcher's career. The Grand Prix Claude Bernard is awarded in recognition of a researcher's entire body of work and outstanding commitment to medical research.
