COVID-19: progress in the Institut Pasteur's three vaccine candidate research programs

Since the beginning of 2020, the Institut Pasteur has been working on several vaccines for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes COVID-19. Three of the vaccines are already well advanced. Two use viral vectors: the attenuated virus used in the measles vaccine and a lentivirus. The other one is a DNA vaccine, based on a more recent technique. The aim of the three vaccines is to induce a specific immune response to SARS-CoV-2, especially the production of antibodies directed against a SARS-CoV-2 surface protein.
