Catawiki and 12 contemporary artists join forces to auction customized lab coats in support of the Institut Pasteur's scientists

More than ever in 2020, with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, lab coats have come to symbolize all the heroes working behind the scenes to protect our health. In 2019, the Institut Pasteur created the hashtag #PutOnYourLabCoat (#MetsTaBlouse) to announce the start of a new edition of Pasteurdon, the annual fundraising campaign that celebrates research and raises awareness of the need for funding to tackle disease and provide solutions to the major health challenges facing the planet. A dozen urban artists accepted the invitation to customize a lab coat. These unique artworks were then presented in an unforgettable fashion show by young scientists at the Institut Pasteur.

This year, the same artists have generously given permission for their lab coats to be sold in an online auction on Catawiki from September 25 to October 3, 2020. With this charity auction, set to take place just days before the 2020 edition of Pasteurdon, twelve of the contemporary artists are making a bold appeal to support the Institut Pasteur's scientists. The money raised will be used to fund research.
