Institut Pasteur’s First Postdoc Appreciation Week!

The Postdoctoral Affairs Office is delighted to share that, for the first time ever, Institut Pasteur will officially participate in Postdoc Appreciation Week (PAW) this 16-18 September—a celebration that started in the United States in 2009 and has grown into a global tradition.
The Institute is proud to be the first European institute to hold an official PAW celebration!
Pourquoi la PAW ?
PAW is an opportunity to recognize the outstanding achievements of postdoctoral researchers, increase visibility for their innovative discoveries and career paths, and highlight both the rewards and unique challenges at this essential stage in a scientific career.
It is also a special opportunity to reflect collectively on how to define the postdoctoral experience and how to improve it.

Program Highlights for the Third Week of September:
- Spotlights: Several postdoctoral researchers and their promising and engaging research projects will be highlighted, both within the Pasteur Institute and through external communications.
- Postdoc Social Event: Tuesday, 16 September at 4pm, The 25 — hosted by your postdoc representatives
o Squid Game lab edition – come enjoying collaborative themed games and mingle with your peers
o Meet the upcoming Mental Health Awareness Club
- Postdoc Pasteur Symposium: Thursday, 18 September from 2pm
o Poster session and competition 2-3.30 pm in the François Jacob Atrium
o live pitch competition, mentoring round table with expert guests, and a festive closing cocktail - from 3.30 pm onwards in the François Jacob Auditorium
- And don’t miss out on plenty of exclusive PAW goodies for participants!
