Agenda

From October 16 to 18, take part in the Eukaryome 2019 event

Reminder: Institut Pasteur in Paris hosts the conference "Eukaryome impact on Intestine homeostasis and mucosal immunology" from October 16 to 18, 2019. This event focuses on the families of eukaryotic microbes inhabiting the intestine.

EUKARYOME 2019 brings together internationally recognized experts addressing the following topics:

  • Phylogenetic, prevalence, and diversity of intestinal eukaryotic microbes; their historical evolution and potential contributions to homeostasis and mucosal immune responses.

  • Integrative biology to study the molecular cell biology of parasite-host interactions and the multiple parameters underlining the infectious process.

  • The exploitation of tissue engineering and microfluidics to establish three-dimensional systems that helps to understand homeostasis and pathological processes in the human intestine.

Organizers: Nancy Guillén, Elisabeth Labruyère and Serge Ankri
