Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Every year, Pasteurdon involves a large-scale digital campaign to promote the appeal with the support of individuals, showcasing highlights while also raising awareness of the need for donations.
For this 18th edition, the online communication for Pasteurdon has already begun, and it will be stepped up until October 9 and then throughout the campaign until October 13. Here is an overview of the Pasteurdon 2024 online presence, ranging from dedicated websites to banners and social media:
Websites
pasteurdon.fr
Once again this year, the dedicated pasteurdon.fr website has been given a new look. The Pasteurdon 2024 space went live this week, presenting the people involved and the highlights of this year's edition. The website particularly emphasizes the need for donations to support the Institut Pasteur's research. This week's newsletter contains a dedicated article about the website, which you can read here.

Information about the 2024 campaign will also soon be added to the Institut Pasteur's website, pasteur.fr. The website will contain a dedicated page for the 2024 edition and a space featuring all the latest campaign news, with messages from partners and the press kit for this 18th edition (coming soon). All the pages of the pasteur.fr website will soon feature a specific Pasteurdon banner until the end of October.
Social media
An active social media presence
As in previous years, the Institut Pasteur's Twitter (now X), LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram pages will report all the latest Pasteurdon news. They will also serve as a platform for testimonials and appeals for donations from several well-known TV and radio presenters and journalists.
Keep your eyes glued to the Institut Pasteur's social media pages for videos by several Institut Pasteur scientists – coming soon! Three scientists have already been captured on camera, in original formats and in a variety of spaces (sometimes far removed from the lab!), to share the day-to-day realities of life as a scientist and speak about their fields of expertise. The idea is for them to speak directly and naturally to the public to share a message of hope about progress in research.
Stay connected on September 16 so that you don't miss the first video in this new series!
