France to launch a pay-as-you-earn tax system on January 1, 2019

Following a decision by the French government, a pay-as-you-earn income tax withholding system will be introduced in France on January 1, 2019.

We would remind you that you have until Saturday September 15, 2018 to choose your income tax bracket.

You will subsequently be able to amend your choice but any changes cannot be guaranteed to be taken into account by January 1, 2019.

The Human Resources Department will contact staff about this matter again before the end of the year.
