22nd European Mobility Week: information stand and bike workshops

As part of the 22nd European Mobility Week, on September 21 the Sustainable Development Department and the CSE's cycling section are pleased to invite you to:

  • a discussion session about sustainable mobility (news both within the Institut Pasteur and externally, feedback from the mobility survey conducted during the first half of the year, information about transport options for business trips, benefits of daily cycling) at the stand situated at the entrance to Building 6 (in front of the canteen), from 11.30am to 2pm;

  • two workshops led by Solicycle, on the esplanade of the CIS building, from 10am to 1pm and then from 2 to 6pm:

•    "Bicycode® marking" (length: 15 minutes): your bicycle frame will be engraved with a unique number listed in a national database so that if your bike is stolen you can be easily contacted if it is found again. This service costs €10 per bicycle and only cash payments are possible (remember to bring the correct change to save time). Spaces are limited for this workshop so make sure you sign up here. Participants can collect a bicycle repair kit from the mobility stand between 11.30am and 2pm in front of the canteen.

•    FULL "Bicycle repair"

Leave your bicycle in the identified area on the CIS forecourt between 8 and 10am (if unavailable at this time you can email campus-vert@pasteur.fr by September 20 at the latest to notify Solicycle). With the bicycle you must provide a sheet with instructions regarding your needs and particular expectations, especially in terms of the required collection time (initially scheduled between 3 and 6pm). The sheet must be taped to the bicycle frame.

Repairs are free. The list of repairs covered is available via this link. Certain specific parts can be changed or accessories fitted if the relevant parts are brought to the workshop on the scheduled repair day.

(you can email campus-vert@pasteur.fr to sign up for the waiting list)

If you have any questions, you can contact the Sustainable Development Department by emailing campus-vert@pasteur.fr.
