The HR Training Center, together with the Department of Education, is offering two new courses to staff on campus, both Institut Pasteur employees and OREX staff.
The aim of this course is to introduce learners to theoretical concepts of phylogenetic analysis and best practices in phylogenetic reconstruction.
You will be able to analyze your own data, interpret inferred phylogenetic trees and assess the limits and potential drawbacks of each approach.
The course runs over a week with theoretical and hands-on sessions.
Eight places are available as part of efforts to provide continuing education opportunities to scientists on campus.

This university diploma (DU awarded by Sorbonne University) covers all aspects of applied research valorization, ranging from the initial idea to the marketed product, and addresses the socio-economic and regulatory environment governing health that drives the market and the launch of innovative businesses.
The aim of this course is to understand the rules governing the protection of innovation (patents, copyright, etc.), biomedical assessment, the transfer of innovation to industry and regulatory aspects, research funding and business start-ups. The course includes several practical examples, dialog with speakers, round tables, tours of biological and medical engineering companies and role play.
The Institut Pasteur is offering ten places to researchers or engineers on campus. Participants will be selected by the HR department based on the reasons provided.
The DU assessment is optional. The implementing arrangements (short dissertation and defense) will be stipulated by the university.
