Upcoming "Start-up breakfast" session on September 29

The next Start-up breakfast will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 9:00 AM at Room 11, Pavillon Émile Roux (PER) 2nd floor with Dr.Valérie Hélin, Global Alliance Manager of the DARRI, Institut Pasteur, as guest.

Valérie got trained as chemical engineer from Ecole national supérieure de Chimie de Rennes in 1996. After her degree in engineering in 1996, she obtained her PhD in biology from the University of Paris Saclay/Gustave Roussy in 1999. During her professional life, she studied and received an Executive Master’s degree in Strategy and Management of Health Industries from ESSEC in 2008.

Since Valérie started her career in research and development (R&D) at Genset, a biotech specializing in genomics, in 2000, she has got various positions in the industrial and institutional sectors. After more than six years at Genset (2007), she moved to the Cancer Campus to create the OncoEntrepreneur program designed for the creation of companies in oncology. For nine years, she has led business development and managed projects to set up collaborations with major academic partners such as Gustave Roussy or the Institut Curie.

Since 2016, Valérie has been responsible for scientific, medical, and regulatory affairs (CE/FDA) at Predilife. Predilife is a MedTech company spin-off from Gustave Roussy, specializing in predictive and personalized medicine.

Valérie joined the institut Pasteur in March 2022 as Global Alliance Manager of the DARRI to manage and lead the institute’s strategic industrial partnerships and support the scientific teams.
