Introduction to molecular phylogenetics (September 28-October 2, 2015)

A series of training sessions which aim to provide a theoretical grounding in phylogenetics and an introduction to tools and software will be held on:

 

  • Tuesday, September 29:

- 9:30-11am: Distance methods (A. Criscuolo)

- 2:3.30pm: Maximum parsimony methods (O. Gascuel)

 

  • Wednesday, September 30:

- 9:30-11am: Evolution models (O. Gascuel)

- 2-3:30pm: Maximum likelihood methods (O. Gascuel)

 

  • Thursday, October 1:

- 9:30-11am: Bayesian methods (G. Perriere)

- 2-3:30pm: Inferences about selective forces (G. Perriere)

 

The sessions will take place in the Retrovirus room of the Lwoff building (except the afternoon session on 09/29: Duclaux room, 2nd floor).
