DIM ELICIT presented in a series of educational videos produced by L'Esprit Sorcier

In May 2020, DIM ELICIT published a presentation video produced in collaboration with the educational media platform "L'Esprit Sorcier" on its YouTube channel (and subsequently on its LinkedIn and Twitter pages). This first step was the launchpad for a series of several educational videos, supported by the Greater Paris region, with the aim of presenting the little known research topics in this Field of Major Interest (DIM) in an attractive, easy-to-understand way for the general public, especially for science students.

Since then, several other videos have been produced and broadcast, giving viewers a chance to find out about the DIM ELICIT research topics, namely microfluidics, biophotonics and waves, and biological image analysis. The video about the third of these topics was filmed in the Biological Image Analysis Unit led by Jean-Christophe Olivo-Marin at the Institut Pasteur.

Other videos are now being produced. They will present the fields of application supported by DIM ELICIT and will also feature young scientists working in areas related to the DIM ELICIT research topics to give viewers an insight into their daily lives and educational background.
