Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Pasteurdon is a great opportunity to promote and share cutting-edge knowledge of research at the Institut Pasteur through its identifying hallmark topics and experts. For the latest Pasteurdon campaign, three scientists agreed to take part in short films that will be published on the Institut Pasteur's social media pages.
By the coffee machine or directly in the lab environment, at break time or at different moments of the day, the three videos create a real connection between viewers and scientists and provide a glimpse into our scientists’ daily lives to understand how they work and measure the challenges they face. These sequences show three profiles linked to three different topics. This operation targeting the general public offers a forum for probing and questioning the community on research and its diseases, and making research and the work of researchers more accessible. It also showcases careers and topics of expertise, as well as research projects, while raising awareness of the vital need for donations. In addition, it provides tangible proof that research is advancing and benefiting those concerned.
Watch the first in the series here. Its title is “Research springs to life” (in French) with Camille Berthelot. This video reveals the challenge facing Camille Berthelot and her team to detect endometriosis. In this laboratory, they are working to find a biological marker to detect this chronic disease early and easily.
The following two sequences will be available starting September 23: “Research is very much part of them” with Germano Cecere et de “Enlightened research”, with Jean-Baptiste Masson.
Stay tuned!
