"Patients shake research tree up" conference on September 26 with the CRT

With a view to boosting the "patient-researcher" relationship at the Institut Pasteur, the Center for Translational Science is pleased to invite you to the "Patients shake research tree up" conference. The event will take place on Wednesday September 26 at 5pm in the François Jacob auditorium.

The speakers will be:

  • Hugues Fischer, an Act-Up co-founder who will present developments in the relationship between researchers and people living with HIV since the 1980s,

  • Peter Kapitein, a former patient who lobbied for cancer research in the Netherlands.

The event is free and open to all. The conference is in English.

The CRT also organized a round table discussion on the topic with European colleagues at ESOF in July. You can download the minutes and find out more about the "dialog between patients and researchers" topic.
