Sports clubs start up again with the Institut Pasteur sports club

The Institut Pasteur sports club is gearing up for the start of the new academic year. Its activities have started on Monday September 17, 2018.

This year, the club is running more than 22 activities, which are open to all those working on campus (Institut Pasteur staff, OREX, interns, students, etc.), with no minimum service period. Come along to see what's available and try the activities for yourself during the week beginning Monday September 17.

A sports club fair will take place on Thursday October 4, from 12 noon to 2pm, for you to come along and meet the activity coordinators and coaches. Demonstrations will also be held.

Activities available for the 2018-2019 season:

  • Wellness and fitness (abs and butt, cardio, step workout, gymnastics, Pilates, stretching, yoga)

  • Martial arts (karate, self-defense, tai chi, Vovinam)

  • Team sports (badminton, basketball, table tennis, volleyball)

  • Dance (African dance, folk, modern jazz)

  • Subsidized activities (swimming, "Cercle de la Forme" fitness network, squash)

  • Running

This year, the sports club is hoping to introduce a new sport, laser-run, a modern pentathlon discipline that combines running and laser shooting (the activity will take place if at least 15 people register; contact: nathalie.denoyes@pasteur.fr).
