Upcoming "Vivons Vélo" event on September 30

"Vivons Vélo", the sports-based fundraising program run by AG2R in aid of the Institut Pasteur, organizes regular bike rides for budding cyclists in 15 towns and cities across France, including Paris. The next bike ride is coming up soon. By clocking up the kilometers you can raise money for research: just like last year, for every kilometer covered, €1 will be donated to the Institut Pasteur.

So on September 30, grab your helmet and head to the latest "Vivons Vélo" event in Paris, where you can join in the 25km ride aimed at cyclists of all ages, supervised by instructors from the French Cycle Tourism Federation. This time the start line will be the National Velodrome. The course will cover 45 kilometers in the Chevreuse Valley, passing by the Commanderie des Templiers, Maurepas forest, Jean Monnet's house, Ergal and the "Ile de loisirs" leisure park before returning to the National Velodrome. Participants will also have the chance to explore the velodrome and check out the stands set up for the occasion, accompanied by Quentin Lafargue, a member of the French track cycling team and runner-up at the 2017 World Championships – the same rider who welcomed the eight Institut Pasteur cyclists on September 16!.
