The day after the launch, on October 10, make sure you tune your radios to hear the support messages broadcast by each of our partner stations for Pasteurdon. During the morning programs, throughout the day or in the late-night slots, the messages recorded individually or in groups by your favorite radio celebrities, alongside Alexandra Lamy, will be broadcast at regular intervals.

Then on October 11, from 8.30 to 9pm, make sure you're sitting comfortably in front of your TV to see the Pasteurdon launch clip broadcast on all the partner TV channelsmarking the start of an entire weekend of short films dedicated to the appeal. The Pasteurdon films were created in June, with several of you involved as extras on the sets in the Omics building alongside the TV presenters and journalists.

Remote controls to the ready – Pasteurdon will be coming to a TV screen near you in October!

On Saturday October 12, from 1 to 6pm, the campus will open its gates to the public. The aim of this event is to welcome visitors keen to find out more about research and give them a chance to chat to Institut Pasteur employees on hand for the occasion – though of course staff members are also more than welcome. The day's events will include talks for the general public, museum tours, scientific workshops, real-life or "augmented reality" tours of laboratories, sporting challenges, film screenings and artistic performances.

Prior registration is required for this Pasteurdon day.

You can register up to October 2 – but please note that spaces are limited.

Pasteurdon will also be supported by the 60-strong team running the "20km de Paris" race. This event, now a firm fixture of the Pasteurdon campaign, is a perfect illustration of the values and commitment of the Institut Pasteur's scientists – it's all about raising the bar and excelling at the task at hand. The race follows on from the achievements of the participants in La Parisienne, who put their best foot forward in aid of Pasteurdon 2019 earlier this month. On October 13, why not take to the streets and support the runners in the 20km?
