Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
The workshop, co-organized by StaPa, the MAASCC and the DARRI, will be held on Thursday, October 20th 2016 from 2pm to 6pm in Monod Amphitheater.
The aim of the workshop is to bring awareness to the young researchers of Institut Pasteur about the stakes and opportunities of intellectual property and technology transfer in the frame of their research.
During the workshop, questions will be adressed through presentations, quizz and testimony:
What is technology transfer? Why do we do it?
What are intellectual and industrial property?
How is it relevant for young researchers?
How do we move from an invention declaration to a technology transfer?
The workshop will be followed by a Patent Speed Dating and a coffee break/open question session in The 25 cafeteria for more informal discussion.
The Tech Transfer Speed Dating is meant for PhD student and Post Docs only. It will give you the opportunity to meet for 10 minutes with a patent engineer of the Patent Office or with a member of the Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office to talk partnership with industry. You will get to present your ideas, ask questions and get a rapid answer: patent / publish / both!
