Agenda

On November 4, 2015, the Sanofi-Institut Pasteur Awards will be presented following a scientific symposium.

Web

The first results of the revamp of the pasteur.fr website will soon be launched. The newly designed top-level pages and the fully revamped Research section will shortly be launched. This is a major first step in the website overhaul project, which is due to be completed for the entire website by 2016.

Award

On July 8, the 26th Neuronal Plasticity Prize was awarded to three recipients including Thomas Bourgeron, Head of the Human Genetics and Cognitive Functions Unit.

Center

The Technological Innovation and Research Center (Citech) is launching its first in-house call for proposals to capitalize on the arrival of two technologies under development in its new Tech Lab.

Research

The 14th edition of the Institut Pasteur Laboratory Show will take place from 10am to 5.30pm on September 17 in the CIS hall and auditorium.

Pasteurdon

The 2015 edition of Pasteurdon, the Institut Pasteur's annual awareness and fundraising event, will run from October 8 to 11. This 9th edition will depend more than ever on the concerted efforts and determination of the Institut Pasteur's scientists, who will once again show that they are willing to go to any lengths to beat viruses and improve human health!

IT

Work is continuing on the Unified Communications Project, and the changeover process will be starting up again in September.

Media Library

On Tuesday, September 15, from 2 to 4pm, the science media library will be running a training session on "Calculating your h-index".

    Funders: Institut Pasteur and Institut Carnot Pasteur Maladies Infectieuses
    • Purpose: To support innovative concepts with significant applicative potentials. Any type of research projects from the Institut Pasteur are welcome, either early-stage (no intellectual property) or advanced ones (intellectual property). 
    • Duration: maximum of 12 months.
    • Budget: €25,000 to €30,000 per research project (operational costs only)
