Vivons Vélo 2022: the staff digital challenge to get pedaling for Pasteurdon is back!
As last year, the "Vivons Vélo" initiative in aid of the Institut Pasteur, organized with AG2R LA MONDIALE, will once again be deployed to Pasteurians in a digital format!
AG2R LA MONDIALE is encouraging all Institut Pasteur staff to download the "Vivons Vélo" application, to register individually or as a team, and to get pedaling for four weeks from this Friday, September 9 to October 9 to clock up the kilometers for the Institut Pasteur's research.
What is the 2022 Vivons Vélo staff challenge?
The challenge is centered on the Vivons Vélo app. When you sign up (see the PDF in French), you can create or join a team of up to 8 people. To make sure all the Institut Pasteur teams can be easily identified, they should be named in the following format: "Institut Pasteur – [Team name]".
Then it's over to you: you can cycle to work, hop on your bike for all your daily activities or go for longer rides – whenever you start pedaling, make it count, clock up the kilometers and boost your team's score and position on the Institut Pasteur leaderboard! Every kilometer covered will add to the total raised for the Institut Pasteur.
We hope that lots of you will get involved – spread the word to your colleagues and set up your team. Challenge your colleagues from the next-door lab or office or your workmates from across the corridor. Teams can include people from one or more units, entities or departments – any format is possible as long as it adds to the kilometer count!
Prizes will be distributed to the winning teams at the end of this unique staff challenge.
When is the Vivons Vélo staff challenge happening?
The challenge will run from September 9 to October 9. Please note that the leaderboard will be updated at the end of September in the application, and you will receive an email with your provisional ranking.
Where is the Vivons Vélo staff challenge taking place?
Everywhere! All your journeys count, whether cycling to work for those who are back on campus, out and about in town or on a longer ride. Simply start the Vivons Vélo application before taking to the saddle and start clocking up points.
How can I sign up and take part?
The Vivons Vélo app can be downloaded from the usual stores.
