Results of the call for proposals for medical personnel

The call for proposals launched in October 2014 for medical personnel looking to strengthen their cooperation with the Institut Pasteur has led to:

• the selection or renewal of seven Guest Researchers with the AP-HP, one in connection with the Institut Pasteur International Network;
   
• the signing of four "doctor" partnership contracts with AP-HP practitioners, for infectiology (two positions), rheumatology and psychiatry. One of the projects will be carried out at the Institut Pasteur in Cambodia;
   
• the favorable opinion of the senior management for the creation of three joint units to consolidate the existing links between an Institut Pasteur unit and a hospital clinical department. These proposals are awaiting official approval from the AP-HP's Clinical Research and Development Department, with a decision expected in early September at the latest.

This initiative, which is fully in line with the Institut Pasteur's strategy and the development of its research programs with the International Network, will continue with a new call for proposals in autumn 2015.
