Upcoming training courses organised by CeRIS in June
Managing open access to publications: challenges, ecosystem and policies adopted by institutions and research funders, Thursday June 4, 2026 from 10am to 12pm*, in French (remotly)
In its Charter for Open Access to Publications, the Institut Pasteur has set itself the target of 100% of publications published as open access. It has introduced the system of submitting publications to the HAL-Pasteur open access archive, with the COMESP using this as part of its appraisal policy for scientists. The format of the list of publications is explained in the report outline, section 6
See the page on the HAL-Pasteur website on submitting publications for the COMESP here.

Finding a data repository to share and give visibility to your research data, Thursday June 18,2026 from 2 to 4pm and Thursday June 25 from 2 to 4pm*, in English (remotely)
Do you want to publish the raw data related to a research paper? Do you want to make your data available to the scientific community to improve the reproducibility of your research?
Data repositories are the most efficient solution to meet your needs! They are a way for you to share your data with a wider community, either making it freely available or controlling access to your files.
Whether you have large volumes of data, can only share your data under certain conditions, or have "composite" data (a combination of code and data in different formats), there is a repository out there that will meet your needs. And there's nothing better than a training course to help you find your way around the many repositories out there!
The course will help you to:
Choose the most suitable repository to share your data;
Use repositories in your research, either to share or find data;
Draw up a comparative list of different repositories.
Combining theory and practice, the training course takes place over two sessions. Between the sessions you will have the opportunity to analyze and test a repository and to ask the trainer any questions via Teams.
The training will take place remotely (via Microsoft Teams) in English.
Before you sign up: make sure you will be able to take part in both sessions.
Advanced EndNote, level 2, Tuesday June 23, 2026 from 2 to 5pm*, in English (remotely)
Find out about the more advanced features of EndNote 21 and learn some handy tips and tricks.
Combining theory and practice, this training session will teach you how to boost your library with references that are not available in traditional databases, manage your library more efficiently and import references into a document (e.g. changing a style).
Aim of the training : To develop advanced skills in using the software
This training is aimed at anyone who already uses EndNote and wants to further develop their command of the software.
It will take place remotely (via Microsoft Teams) in English.
An attendance certificate will be provided on request.
Prerequisite : EndNote (licensed software) must be installed on your computer.
