Upcoming training: EndNote, data management plan, Zotero
Advanced EndNote, level 2, Wenesday February 18, 2026 from 2 to 5pm* (in English, remotely)
Find out about the more advanced features of EndNote 21 and learn some handy tips and tricks.
Combining theory and practice, this training session will teach you how to boost your library with references that are not available in traditional databases, manage your library more efficiently and import references into a document (e.g. changing a style).
Aim of the training : To develop advanced skills in using the software
This training is aimed at anyone who already uses EndNote and wants to further develop their command of the software.
It will take place remotely (via Microsoft Teams) in English.
An attendance certificate will be provided on request.
Prerequisite : EndNote (licensed software) must be installed on your computer.

Drawing up a data management plan for a research project, Tuesday February 24, 2026 from 2 to 5pm* (in English, remotely) and Thursday March 26, 2026 from 2 to 5pm* (in French, remotely)
Do you need to draft a Data Management Plan (DMP) for your project without actually knowing what one is ? Have you found yourself wondering how a DMP might be useful for you ? Or have you had difficulties answering the questions you need to cover in a DMP ?
This session is for you !
The CeRIS can help you understand how to produce a DMP, a document often required by funding bodies such as the ANR and the European Commission, which describes the data involved in a project and how twill be managed throughout its life cycle. You will learn how to use the tool DMP OPIDoR to produce your DMP collaboratively. And you can find out how the DMP can be useful in helping you improve your research project.
Aims of the training :
• Understand the questions that you need to address in a DMP
• Learn how to use the DMP OPIDoR tool to produce your DMP
• Be able to use the DMP as a tool to improve your project
The training session is aimed at scientists, engineers, postdoctoral fellows and project managers who may need to produce a DMP for their research project.

Zotero is a free open-source bibliography management application.
Learn how you can use this software to manage your bibliographical references in a simple, intuitive way and cite them in documents.
From importing references, organizing them into collections and annotating PDFs to presenting the final version of your text with citations, come along and find out what sets it apart from other tools.
Facilitate collaboration with colleagues by creating group libraries to share your references.
Aims of the training:
• Manage your references using this free, open source tool
• Learn how to use the main features of the software and how to cite references
This training session is aimed at anyone who needs to manage or format bibliographical references and more generally wants to find out how Zotero works.
Two sessions are planned:
• Thursday February 26, 2026 from 2 to 5pm*, in French and in person
• Thursday March 12, 2026 from 5 to 7pm*, in English, remotly
