Welcome to the 2025-2026 PhD students at the Institut Pasteur

The Institut Pasteur is proud to welcome every year a new generation of PhD students to its campus, a place of scientific excellence where more than 350 doctoral researchers from over 50 nationalities come together. On Friday, November 21, 2025, the Orientation Day gave new arrivals the opportunity to discover the academic, cultural, and social richness that will shape their life on campus.

Organized by the Doctoral Student Office, this welcome day is a key step for full integration into the Pasteur community. It fosters meetings, the exchange of essential information, and the discovery of numerous services dedicated to doctoral researchers.

A dynamic and interactive program

The day started with a fun Kahoot quiz, already testing the new PhD students’ knowledge about the Institut Pasteur. Monica Sala, Vice-President Education of the Institut Pasteur, officially opened the presentations.
