For the second year, Institut Pasteur is joining forces with the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) to launch the “Amplifying Funds in Infection Biology” initiative 2025. This program aims to promote interdisciplinary and collaborative research across Europe.  

This funding program supports projects in any area of infection biology between group leaders at EMBL (all sites across Europe) and research groups from 4 other world-class research Institutions: 

    •    Institut Pasteur in Paris (IP) 
    •    Laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden (MIMS) 
    •    Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI) 
    •    Gulbenkian Institute of Molecular Medicine (GIMM) 

All type of projects are welcome: from blue-sky research to proof-of-concept or applied science. Strong muti-institute applications are preferred to bi-institutes applications.
