Scientific Priority 3 – Origins of Diseases, in collaboration with the Scientific Incentive Action Programming Service (SPAIS) are launching the 2026 edition of the Priority's Seed Grants, an internal funding program designed to support  young researchers at the Institut Pasteur. 

This call for proposals is open to PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, and young  CRs (not group leaders). This Seed Grant will support exploratory and interdisciplinary projects aimed at answering  questions related to the origins of diseases. The aim is to enable new research approaches, innovative protocols, and acquired preliminary data to initiate new projects. 

Each project submitted may be funded up to €10,000 for a period of 6 months to 1 year. Collaboration between two units or entities on campus is strongly encouraged. 

Application deadline: November 28, 2025, at 6 p.m. (Paris time)
Announcement of results: early January 2026
