A choir with a scientific impact
Following the Venite Cantemus charity concert in the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées on June 21, which featured a massed choir with more than 700 singers, the directors of event organizer La Girafe Lyrique, together with several of the project volunteers, musicians, singers (including Institut Pasteur staff members) and partners, came to the Institut Pasteur campus to present a check for €40,000 in aid of research on autism (see the April 3, 2026 issue of the newsletter).
In the greenhouse in the Ágnes Ullmann building, Gabrielle Thierry, President of La Girafe Lyrique, expressed her heartfelt thanks to all those involved in this wonderful concert, alongside Thomas Bourgeron, Head of the Human Genetics and Cognitive Functions Unit. Thanks to their outstanding efforts, a record sum was raised for the Institut Pasteur's research.
