Supporting and displaying the Pink October colors: accompanying and supporting the 2025 campaign

Every year, the national Pink October campaign, run since 1994 by the Ruban Rose (Pink Ribbon), reminds us of the importance of prevention and early detection of breast cancer. Concerned about the well-being and health of its employees, the Institut Pasteur promotes prevention and awareness among all its staff.

Awareness-raising began on October 1 with the illumination of the Émile Duclaux building, a visible symbol of this commitment.

Throughout October, the Duroc medical imaging center provides female staff at the Institut Pasteur with a direct line to make an appointment for a mammogram: 01 47 34 93 30 – 104 rue de Rennes, 75006 Paris.

Pink October is part of the broader preventive initiatives and health campaigns organized by the Institut Pasteur throughout the year, such as Dry January or No Smoking Month, reflecting the institution’s ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of the Pasteurian community.

The illumination of the Duclaux building in pink is a strong signal that is visible to all passersby and the Pasteurian community. This symbolic gesture serves as a reminder of the importance of prevention and provides concrete support for it.

Thank you to the technical services of the Institut Pasteur for their support in deploying this initiative..
