The Institut Pasteur opens its doors for the 2025 European Heritage Days

To mark the 42nd European Heritage Days, this year on the theme of "Architectural Heritage", the Institut Pasteur is opening its doors on Saturday and Sunday September 20 and 21, from 2 to 6pm.

Free entry, registration required. You must provide ID.

Program:

•    Friday (for Institut Pasteur employees only): 

5.30pm: a private view, held in the CAS hall, of Aline Zalko's exhibition produced in partnership with Aleksandra Deczkowska, Head of the Brain-Immune Communication 5-year group and a presentation of the booklet "Science and architecture, 140 years of dialog at the Institut Pasteur"

Architectural heritage

  • Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 6pm: architectural heritage-themed tours attended by scientists
     
  • Saturday at 2.45 and 3.45pm: a dance-theater production on hygienist architecture, the body and microbes with Gösta Strang and Alessandro Livraghi in partnership with the Fondation du Patrimoine
     
  • Saturday at 4.30pm: lecture and debate: "Site history: the restoration and renovation of the Institut Pasteur's historic building", attended by Xavier Lagneau of LAGNEAU architectes, Laurence Dreux of AFE architecture and Laurence Isnard, Head of the Pasteur Museum.

Art and science

  • Saturday and Sunday: Aline Zalko's exhibition produced in partnership with Aleksandra Deczkowska, Head of the Brain-Immune Communication Lab
     
  • Saturday and Sunday: Tour in English of the DESTINY project in the laboratory run by Germano Cecere, Head of the Mechanisms of Epigenetic Inheritance Unit, where artist Arianna Carossa will present a collection of works related to the scientist's research at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm, followed by a discussion of the project at 5pm.‏ 
    Limited spaces. 
    Please select the appropriate time slots for the laboratory tours.
