Launch of the second questionnaire in the POPCORN study

In connection with Scientific Priority 1 – "Infectious disease threats" in the Pasteur 2030 Strategic Plan, a team comprising Judith Mueller, Amanda Munoz and Laura Schaeffer from the Epidemiology of Emerging Diseases Unit launched the first phase of the POPCORN study, aimed at improving our understanding of changes in attitudes and practices regarding preventive measures such as vaccination, reduced physical contact, use of mosquito repellent and mask wearing. For this first stage, 1,057 participants were recruited and responded to the first questionnaire in the study.
The aim for the second stage of POPCORN is to retain these participants for the next part of the project, although the team would also like to invite you to sign up and join the panel of respondents. Participants can join the study at any time!
The results will help boost epidemic preparedness by improving communications and recommendations in the event of an emerging infectious disease.
Would you like to take part?
Anyone over the age of 18 living in France can take part in the study by completing three online questionnaires over a 12-month period. Each questionnaire will take around 10 minutes. The data collected will be anonymized.
The second questionnaire, launched on May 19, is open until June 18, 2026.
