Pasteur Leadership: a new stage in the rollout of the program
The Pasteur Leadership program, designed to support the human resources strand of the Pasteur 2030 Strategic Plan, has recently entered a new phase. The aim of this broad program is to support leaders at the Institut Pasteur in their responsibilities and foster a shared managerial culture over time.
On October 6, the second Pasteur Leadership Forum was held for managers at the Institut Pasteur, who attended both in person in the CIS and remotely. The event was an opportunity to present the specific leadership model at the Institut Pasteur and the various components of the program.
An approach based around three pillars
Definition and buy-in of a specific Institut Pasteur leadership model, aligned with its values and the human resources strand of Pasteur 2030 and also taking account of current challenges and staff expectations.
Spearheading a community of managers aimed at facilitating dialog, sharing experience and developing best practices over the long term.
Development of managerial and leadership skills, especially through bespoke training courses that take account of the specific characteristics of the Institut Pasteur.
Whether their responsibilities lie in scientific activities or in supervising support staff, managers will be able to draw on shared values, practical tools and forums for dialog adapted to the realities of their work. The program is designed not just to provide support but also to foster new ways of working together within teams at the Institut Pasteur.
Operational rollout
The next steps include communicating the full leadership model to all managers at the Institut Pasteur. The first sessions in the training series will begin in January 2027.
Pasteur Leadership Forum – a space for dialog and information
The Forum is part of the promotion and communication side of the program. The aim is to give Institut Pasteur managers a better understanding of their shared challenges and objectives and provide them with an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts beyond the confines of their respective departments. This second edition of the Forum on October 6 was a chance to reflect on the economic situation at the Institut Pasteur and the discussions under way on the business model, and to focus on the launch of the Pasteur Leadership program.
