Do your bit for the 20th anniversary of Pasteurdon by becoming a volunteer for the Open Day!
On Saturday October 10, to mark the 20th anniversary of Pasteurdon, the Institut Pasteur will be opening its campus to the public for the day, giving people the opportunity to find out what goes on in its labs and why its research is so important.
For this particularly memorable anniversary edition, the management wants to welcome as many visitors as possible, especially families, by organizing an immersive tour that will give both children and their parents a chance to go behind the scenes of the Institut Pasteur's research, meet those involved in it on a daily basis, and understand the real-life impact of their research on public health. The day will also be an opportunity to stir curiosity in children and instill an interest in science.
Several well-known figures who support Pasteurdon will also be there to share the moment and bring an extra sparkle to the event.
To make the day a success, we need your help!
Every staff member can play a part.
There will be various tasks to perform throughout the day:
- welcoming and directing visitors;
- leading or helping with scientific workshops;
- guiding visitors around campus;
- providing information for the public and helping out at the various activity areas.
Being a volunteer is a chance to share your profession, to show others the vitality and unique nature of the Institut Pasteur, to talk about your research and your teams, and to help raise funds to advance research.
Detailed information about the program and organization of the event will be available shortly on the dedicated Pasteurdon 2026 ePasteur page.
