PasteurDay: sign up for the Institut Pasteur's Open Day
On Saturday October 10, from 10.30am to 6pm, the Institut Pasteur will be opening its doors to the public for PasteurDay, the Pasteurdon Open Day, which also coincides with the French National Festival of Science.
Aimed primarily at families and children aged 5 to 11, the Open Day is an opportunity to visit the Institut Pasteur and go behind the scenes of its research through a host of activities including science experiments, laboratory tours, meetings with scientists, games and challenges. Children will have the chance to carry out their own "Pasteur Mission," armed with their lab notebook, before being awarded a Scientific Apprentice certificate.
The goal of Pasteurday is to give people an opportunity to come onto the Institut Pasteur campus and find out about the research it does and the people who work for it. Most of the entry tickets have been reserved for external visitors, but some have been kept aside for Institut Pasteur staff who want to come along with their families.

The event is free but registration is required (subject to availability).
The Department of Communications and Public Affairs is still looking for volunteers! To greet visitors and make the day a success, we still need volunteers for Saturday October 10. We need people for several roles throughout the day, including welcoming and guiding families, helping out at the various spaces and making sure the activities run smoothly.
