Pasteurdon 2026 campaign film shoot: a look back at the event in pictures
This year, for the 20th edition of Pasteurdon, the Institut Pasteur campus was turned into a film set to produce the latest campaign film for the annual fundraising drive. The decision to shoot the film on site was a great way to offer an authentic glimpse into the daily workings of the Institut Pasteur's science and research and the experiences of its scientists.
The Brand Division in the Department of Communications and Public Affairs had commissioned the talented and enthusiastic young director Valentin Guiod, known for several of his short films (including Frater, 2023, and Patience (Sabali), 2025), to create the new campaign film. He and his dynamic crew took over the ground floor of the François Jacob building from April 14 to 16 to produce the film, using a workspace in the Ultrastructural BioImaging core facility and turning a meeting room into a hospital ward and then an apartment thanks to a lick of paint and the expert touch of the set design team.

For this unique moment on campus, the teams in the Brand Division and the film crew were joined by 8 Institut Pasteur staff who had applied to be extras and feature alongside the main characters in some scenes. Playing hospital staff or research lab members, these 8 Institut Pasteur actors brought an infectious enthusiasm to their roles, making the most of an opportunity that only Pasteurdon could provide! The Department of Communications and Public Affairs would like to thank them for their efforts and their part in producing this film about the Institut Pasteur, which will be broadcast on TV screens in October. A big thank you, then, to Srikanth, Yohann, Blanca, Aubin, Jawad, Layak, Azim, and Jeanne.
The organizing teams would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the entire security team—especially François and Mourad—as well as the facilities and technical services team—especially Delphine and Franck—for their support. And on the laboratory side: Adeline, Catherine, Nadège, and all their teams for welcoming us and assisting us at the lab benches.
The newsletter team is pleased to share a series of exclusive behind-the-scenes images. These pictures will also be displayed on the screen in the cafeteria. The dedication, generosity and cheerful attitude of all those involved certainly made it a memorable occasion!

Pasteurdon is the quintessence of cooperation and collective momentum, and is a great opportunity to get involved in supporting research in a different way.
For this 20th edition, Pasteurdon is continuing to find new ways for you to get involved!
