Using the Institut Pasteur's social media to teach about science: check out the videos about the daily lives of scientists
A series of new video sequences in association with Pasteurdon have been published this week or will be released in the next few days to raise awareness and support among the various communities that follow the Institut Pasteur on its social media.
Filmed in laboratories on the Institut Pasteur campus to illustrate the scientific themes of Pasteurdon 2025 (see the dedicated article in the September 5 issue of the newsletter), they shine a light on the daily lives of the Institut Pasteur's researchers and offer the public a chance to step into the shoes of a scientist. The videos are short and dynamic, offering a variety of different angles and content.
The latest video follows a typical day in the life of Massilia and Marie, two young PhD students whose research topic aims to shed light on how bacteria defend themselves from their own viruses.
