Donations of IT equipment
The digital group in the GreenTeam is organizing a collection of laptops, tablets and smartphones, whether personal or professional, so that they can be donated to Emmaüs Connect to be reconditioned and sold to people in need at low prices.
This reuse of IT equipment will have a threefold impact: social, environmental (by extending the service life of the equipment) and economic (encouraging employment through integration schemes to recondition the equipment).
The collection will take place on:
- Wednesday October 1, 2025, from 11.30am to 1.30pm, in front of the canteen
- Thursday October 2, 2025, from 11.30am to 1.30pm, in front of the canteen
What you can do now
Personal or work smartphone
Prepare your smartphone for donation (Android and Apple) Provide the correct charger with it.
Work laptop
Laptops will be decommissioned by the DSI using the decommissioning procedure for work equipment
You will need to provide the name of the computer (hostname) and the MAC address when you donate it.
