Tidy-up sessions before the Institut Pasteur Reuse room reopens on April 9, 2026: come and help out!

Good news: the Institut Pasteur Reuse room is preparing to reopen – and it will be better and easier to use than before! But before the grand reopening, the CSR/RSE Department needs your help.

The Reuse room, managed by the CSR/RSE Department, centralizes:

•    office supplies

•    laboratory equipment

•    IT equipment

An easier, smoother procedure

The Reuse room is changing to make it easier to use:

•    It will operate on a self-service basis for collecting equipment, with a dedicated tool that you can use to notify us of what you are taking. Please note: IT equipment will not be available on a self-service basis (with a dedicated tool that you can use to notify us of what you are taking)

•    An open day for equipment donations will be held once a month for the entire campus

•    You can also make an appointment to drop off equipment at another time during the month

The Reuse room is also moving and will now be located on the first floor of the Calmette building (to the left when you exit the lift, to the right if you take the stairs), from April 9.

To make sure the Reuse room is fully operational by this date, the CSR/RSE Department is organizing tidy-up and set-up sessions on the following dates:
•    March 10, 2.30pm
•    March 17, 3.30pm
•    March 30, 9.30am

These fun and relaxed sessions will involve organizing the spaces, sorting and clearing, and setting up the new room. And of course, those who come and help us will have first dibs on any equipment they are interested in!

Register for a session to help tidy and set up Reuse room 2.0! – Fill in the form

The Reuse room is an effective way of boosting our CSR commitment by giving equipment a new life, reducing pointless purchases and limiting our environmental impact.

The CSR/RSE Department needs you!
