New training: "A detailed guide to scientific outreach: learn how to share your research" on July 1 and 8, 2026

Adapting your message to different audiences, being capable of using different written and oral formats, experimenting with tools – a new training course is being offered to help scientists on campus develop their scientific outreach skills.

Under the Pasteur 2030 Strategic Plan, the Institut Pasteur is stepping up its efforts to share knowledge and foster dialog between science and society. To help achieve this ambition, a new training course on scientific outreach will be available for scientists on campus in July.

This training, designed and led by Exaltia, a scientific outreach studio specialized in cultural innovation which has already run training for the Institut Pasteur in the past, offers a comprehensive, hands-on approach to the principles of scientific outreach.

This first in-person session will be run over two days for a small group (maximum 12 participants), with the aim of giving scientists a broad overview of different written and oral formats used to bring science to the public. Participants will be guided in adapting their message to different audiences and formats, while experimenting with tools and methods directly applicable to their research.

The training will alternate between theoretical information and practical workshops, with activities including writing simplified scientific content and designing a short video format.
Are you available on July 1 and 8?
