Calendar of upcoming campus training

The HR Training Center is offering the following training courses:

•    Introduction to histology and immunohistology techniques (in French):
Date (length): April 12-15, 2021 (17 hours 30)
Coordinator: David Hardy (Histology Platform)

•    FlowJo for flow cytometry analysis (theory part in English, practical part in English/French):
Date (length): April 15, 2021 in the morning for the theory part (2 hours), April 15 in the afternoon or April 16 in the morning for the practical part (2 hours 30)
Coordinators: Pierre-Henri Commere and Sandrine Schmutz (Cytometry and Biomarkers UTechS, Cytometry Platform)

•    Introduction to Python for biologists (in French):
Date (length): June 7-9 and 14-15, 2021 (35 hours)
Coordinator: Bertrand Neron (Bioinformatics and Biostatistics HUB)

•    Reproducible data analysis (in French):
Date (length): June 21-22 and 28-29, 2021 (28 hours)
Coordinators: Thomas Cokelaer, Etienne Kornobis, Frédéric Lemoine and Bertrand Neron (Bioinformatics and Biostatistics HUB)

•    Introduction to UNIX for biologists (in French):
Date (length): June 23-25, June 30 and July 1-2 (35 hours)
Coordinators: Eric Deveaud (IT Infrastructure and Engineering for Science) and Nicolas Maillet (Bioinformatics and Biostatistics HUB)

•    Single-cell gene expression and beyond (in English):
Date (length): July 5-9, 2021 (35 hours)
Coordinators: Milena Hasan and Valentina Libri (Cytometry and Biomarkers UTechS)

•    Introduction to Prism (in French):
Date (length): September 7-10, 2021, mornings (14 hours)

Registering for a training course represents a commitment, especially since the number of places is sometimes limited because of the current health measures.

We would remind you that if you register for a training course, you must attend the entire course.

The costs of these training courses are covered for Institut Pasteur employees and OREX staff under the Skills Development Plan.
