Round table on bioinformatics careers on April 8

The welcome, support and career development structure for scientists (MAASCC), in partnership with the Association of Young French Bioinformaticians (JeBiF), is holding a round table on Thursday April 8, 2021, from 5 to 6.30pm, on careers in bioinformatics.

The event will take place via video conference in French.

Round table program:

•    Members of JeBiF will present an overview of the sector and bioinformatics careers.

•    There will then be an opportunity for participants to talk to professionals working in bioinformatics:
·       Amaury Vaysse : research engineer in the Institut Pasteur's Bioinformatics HUB 
·       Isabelle Guigon : research engineer in bioinformatics at Lille University of Science and Technology
·       Eva Wollrab : data scientist at Allianz France
·       Christophe Bécavin : lecturer and researcher in bioinformatics at Université Côte d'Azur
·       Julien Fumey : scientific project manager and Head of the French Society of Bioinformatics (SFBI)
·       Mickaël Guedj : Head of Computational Medicine at Servier
