New Plasmodium RNA Biology laboratory, organizational changes in the Department of Technology
- New Plasmodium RNA Biology laboratory
The Plasmodium RNA Biology (Biologie des ARN de Plasmodium) laboratory will be set up on June 1, 2021 for a two-year period, which may be renewed once.
The laboratory, affiliated with the Department of Parasites and Insect Vectors, will be led by Sebastian Baumgarten.
- Organizational changes in the Department of Technology
To strengthen the team working under the Vice-President Technology, the following organizational changes were made to the Department of Technology (DT) on May 1, 2021:
- The position of Head of Operations and Administration has been renamed Deputy Director of the DT
- The position of Head of the C2RT (Center for Technological Resources and Research) has been created
- The Administration and Quality Office for the C2RT and the C2RA (Center for Animal Resources and Research) has been reorganized
The heads of the technology and service units (UTechS) and core facilities in the C2RT now report directly to the Head of the C2RT.
The other entities in the Department of Technology remain the same.
- Appointments in the Department of Technology
Following the reorganization of the Department of Technology:
- Anna Kehres was appointed as Deputy Director of the Department of Technology on May 1, 2021
- Virginie Portelette was appointed as Head of Administration for the C2RT and the C2RA on the same date
