New Institut Pasteur policy on open access to publications

In its 2019-2023 Strategic Plan, the Institut Pasteur set itself the objective of "promoting open access to publications."

This objective is in line with a national and international policy which encourages research organizations to open up research results, especially publications, to facilitate sharing of research and speed up innovation (French National Plan for Open Science, new requirements of funding bodies and journal publishers, etc.).

The policy for open access to publications ca me into force on May 1, 2021.

It requires all scientists working at the Institut Pasteur to make their publications available as open access as soon as they are published by depositing them in HAL-Pasteur.
